  2. Ability to manufacture yourself and make proper use of teaching materials.

  3. Ability to help a child develop fully, physically, mentally and spiritually.

  5. Extended knowledge of school management.

Who may do this course

Students seeking for employment as pre-school teachers

This course is ideal for students wishing to start a teacher’s career with a op-class qualification. The knowledge and training acquired during the course enable them to immediately obtain the outstanding results that Montessori Methodology always obtains when genuinely implemented. It has started to be recognized in Tanzania by a number of schools, public and private, looking into recruiting Montessori trained teachers. The demand is increasing as more and more parents favour Montessori kindergartens.

Students considering to start their own kindergarten

Any student having successfully completed this course is capable to open his own school. He leaves with the array of materials he manufactured at the college, he has learnt how to set a Montessori classroom and how to manage it. What is left to him is to get simple premises, buy a few shelves and floor-mats… and register. A new kindergarten is born whose children and their parents will get to thank Maria Montessori for the rest of their life.

Teachers

Experienced teachers of young children in conventional schools often lament about the lack of concentration, discipline, interest shown by their “little angels” turned wild. Our modern society asks the school to make our children ready to enter a world of competition with the same winning ticket: A Big Diploma. An increasing number of kids drag their feet, resist such a formatting and are tagged “school failures” on their PSLC. Teachers concerned by this dramatic situation in our country Tanzania among others), and who are wishing to get insight into the way to individualize their curriculum, so that children of different abilities may work at their own pace in their class, should consider this course as an up-gradation. Montessori methodology is already implemented in many conventional schools around the world. The ministry of Education of Tanzania is also considering it and could soon be looking for Montessori trained teachers.
